November Featured Caregiver
Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of November… Erica!
Erica has been with the Sunny Days family for EIGHT years! She’s originally from Lincoln-Lemington but currently resides in Brighton Heights with her family. Between both her and her husband, they have nine children, seventeen grandchildren, and two on the way! Erica loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoying life. Her favorite food is shrimp alfredo, favorite type of music is R&B, and favorite movie is Wizard of Oz. A fun fact about Erica is that she loves plants and currently has about thirty of them.
When asked about her favorite part of being a caregiver, Erica said… “Knowing that I helped someone get through their day…something that seems easy for us may be a struggle for them.” Erica’s advice for other caregivers is “…have patience.” When asked what caregiving means to her, Erica said “…putting a smile on someone’s face, knowing that I made their day and giving them a sense of comfort.” Her favorite memory with a client was when they were sitting on the sofa, watching tv, and her client grabbed her hand and told she was a good person and now was a part of her family.
We’re so thankful for Erica and the wonderful asset she is to our company. She loves and cares for her clients so wholeheartedly. Keep up the great work Erica!
October Featured Caregiver
Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of October…Jonathan!
Jonathan has been with the Sunny Days Family for three and half years. He’s originally from Los Angeles, but currently resides in Grove City with his seven-year-old son, JJ, and their dog, Skye, and cat, Nala. When asked what he likes to do outside of work, Jonathan said “I don’t…I work constantly, and I’m ok with that 😊” His favorite food is Japanese, favorite types of music are Pop and R&B, and favorite movie is “The War”.
When asked what his favorite part of being a caregiver is, Jonathan said “…Being able to make my clients laugh, smile, and as comfortable as possible.” Jonathan’s advice to new caregivers is “…Patience is KEY.” When asked what caregiving means to you, he said “…Being able to provide my services at my best of capability. If I’m not able to comply or figure out a solution, best believe I will FIND one!” Jonathan’s favorite memory with a client was “…Robins 70’s birthday was pretty magical.” When asked for a fun fact, Jonathan said “…Here’s a little secret about me ….im a popstar in my head all day lol.”
We’re so thankful for the impact Jonathan has on the lives of his clients. He’s an incredible asset to our team and we’re so glad to have him as a member of our work family! Keep up the great work Jonathan.
September Featured Caregiver
Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of September… Tieesha!
Tieesha is originally from Derry, PA and still resides in the area with her daughter Christina. Outside of work she enjoys going to church and spending time with her daughter. Her favorite food is pizza, her favorite type of music is R&B Christian, and her favorite movies are any Tyler Perry movies.
When asked what caregiving means to her, Tieesha said “…helping others.” Her favorite part of being a caregiver is “…getting to be a hard worker by helping others.” Her advice to other caregivers is “…just have a kind heart…love working with people.” Her favorite memories with clients are whenever they’re talking and laughing.
Tieesha is a valued member of our team and her clients love her. We’re so thankful to have her be apart of our family! Keep up the great work Tieesha.
August Featured Caregiver
Meet our featured caregiver for the month of August…Stacey!
Stacey has been with the Sunny Days family for almost two years. She’s originally from Meadville and still resides in the area with her family. She has a son named Payton, and a grandson named Payton Jr. She has three dogs (Ravyn, Topaz, and Apollo) and four ferrets (Caramella, Domino, Luna, and Carlos).
Outside of work Stacey loves being outdoors and enjoying the beautiful weather. She likes to play sports and fish, but her favorite thing to do is spend time with her pets and family. Her favorite foods are steak, sweet potatoes, burgers, pulled pork, French fries, tacos, and fruits and veggies. Her favorite type of music is R&B and her favorite movies are Halloween, Chucky, and Jaws. A fun fact about Stacey is that she won first place in the state competition at Hershey for wrestling.
When asked what her favorite part about being a caregiver, Stacey said “…I love helping and caring for people.” Her advice for new caregivers is “…be patient and kind.” When asked what caregiving means to her, she said “…caregiving means taking responsibility for someone else and making sure they feel safe and secure.” Her favorite memory with a client was “…when I took my client to Michigan to see his family.”

July Featured Caregiver
Meet our featured caregiver for the month of July, Deanna!
Deanna is not just a caregiver; she’s a superhero in disguise! When she’s not busy caring for others, she’s enjoying life with her loving partner, Mike and her children: David, Noah, Daughter-in-law Summer, Rosemarie, and Brian. Their family is completed by four adorable fur babies: Chocolate, Baby, Sugar, and Ginger.
Outside of her caregiving role, Deana thrives on adventure and fun. Whether she’s exploring the aviary, diving into a good book, playing video games with Micheal, she’s always up for excitement. You might also find her enjoying a concert or marveling at the wildlife at the zoo.
When it comes to her favorite cuisine it is definitely sushi. Fun fact about Deanna is that she has a love for sloths- earning her the affectionate nickname, “sloth.”
Her secret to success in caregiving? Patience, compassion, and understanding, “she advises, along with a strong bond with your manager for support.

June Featured Caregiver
Meet our featured caregiver for the month of June… Charde’.
Charde’ is originally from Oakland, CA but currently resides in Houstin, PA with her family. Her and her husband have three children: Xavier, Allistair, and Julian as well as two dogs: Tigger and Stormy. Outside of work Charde’ loves to activities with her children such as reading, cooking, watching movies, and going to the park.
When asked about her favorite part of being a caregiver, Charde’ said “…I get to help the elderly/ disabled in their everyday life, to feel as normal as possible while still having their independence.” Her advice for other caregivers is “…You must have a big heart to do this job, it’s not only working for clients but treating those clients as you would your own parents. We will all have to age someday so it’s wise to treat people with the same amount of respect that you would want to be treated with.” When asked what caregiving means to her, she said “…taking care of the elderly/disabled is like taking care of my own family…I don’t mind cooking, cleaning, running errands, and spending quality time with the clients. If the shoe was on the other foot, the same care and effort I put in to take care of the client’s needs I would like done for me.” Her favorite memory with a client is every time they go grocery shopping, her client gets an electric shopping cart and pretends she’s on the show Supermarket Sweep.
Charde’s favorite music is R&B from around the mid 70’s to the early 2000s. Her favorite TV shows are Law & Order and Real Housewives, and her favorite movie is The Color Purple (the original). A fun fact about Charde’ is that she’s been listening to Lenny Williams and Evelyn Champaign King since she was a little girl, and they made a surprise appearance at her Aunt’s Birthday party and getting to meet them was a dream come true.

May Featured Caregiver
Meet our featured caregiver for the month of May… Jordan!
Jordan has been with the Sunny Days family for four and half years. He’s originally from New Castle and still resides in the area with his family. Him and his wife recently welcomed their first son. Jordan’s wife Amaya is also a caregiver for the company, as well as his mom. They also have two pit bulls named Ember and Autumn. Outside of work, Jordan is currently in Trade School to be a carpenter. He also enjoys spending time with his family and playing PlayStation.
When asked about his favorite part of being a caregiver, Jordan said “…being able to be the only good part of someone’s day, even if it’s not every time I work.” His advice to new caregivers is “…not every client and caregiver are the perfect match. So if you’re having a hard time, don’t take it personally and talk to your manager.” When asked what caregiving means to him, Jordan said “…it takes a special person and changes your mindset on how you view the world and how you treat others. I truly think it has helped turn me into the man I am today.” When asked about a favorite memory with a client, Jordan said “…I was working with a bed bound client that also had memory issues and lived with their spouse… it was around lunch time and the client kept yelling the spouses name until the spouse came upstairs just so the client could say hi and tell the spouse they didn’t need anything. I was in the room with the client I was taking a sip of my drink when the spouse walked in, I laughed so hard that tea came out my nose and all three of us laughed for like 5 minutes after.”
Jordan’s favorite type of food is pulled pork with mac n cheese and blueberry corn bread, his favorite type of music is R&B, and his favorite movie is Never Back Down. A fun fact about him is that his dream is to start his own construction company and remodel and build houses.

April Featured Caregiver
Meet our featured caregiver for the month of April… Kenna!
Kenna has been with the Sunny Days Family for EIGHT years. She’s originally from Burgettstown and still currently resides in the area with her daughter and their two cats. Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, family, and friends as well as watching movies, coloring, doing crafts, baking, and reading.
When asked about her favorite part of being a caregiver, Kenna said “…being able to help with the quality of life of a client.” Her advice to new caregivers is “…they’re not giving you a hard time when they act out of character, they’re having a hard time. Take some deep breaths and do your best to handle the situation with compassion.” When asked what caregiving means to her, Kenna said “…being there emotionally and physically for my clients and creating a bond for them to trust and communicate with me about their needs. It makes me feel good to be able to ease their lives in some way.” Her favorite memory with a client was when she got to go to a family reunion and getting to watch her client interact with her family. She said “…it made her so happy, and her family was very welcoming.”
Kenna’s favorite type of food is a good medium rare steak, her favorite type of music is 90s alternative, and her favorite movie is any Harry Potter movie. A random fun fact about her is that she found out she was pregnant on a holiday and ended up also having her daughter on a holiday. She thought it was kind of funny, so she calls her daughter her holiday baby.
We’re so thankful for the charismatic and loving caregivers that make up our team like Kenna. They truly make a difference in the lives of everyone they touch, and we couldn’t be the company we are without them. Keep up the great work Kenna!
March Featured Caregiver
Meet our featured caregiver for the month of March… Greg!
Greg is originally from Mississippi but currently resides in Erie with his family. Outside of work he enjoys taking care of his sick mom and going fishing.
When asked about his favorite part of being a caregiver, Greg said “…I love taking care of people who can’t do it for themselves. I’ve been doing it for 30+ years.” His advice to new caregivers is to “… do your job… you’re there because they need you. Love them like they’re your own family.” When asked what caregiving means to him, Greg said “…caring…helping…” His favorite memory with a client is anytime they got to have long talks.
Greg’s favorite types of music are R&B, Pop, Rap, and the Blues Brothers, and his favorite tv show is Law & Order. A fun fact about Greg is that he’s loving, caring, and funny.

January Featured Caregiver
Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of January… Patty!
Patty is originally from Cleveland but currently resides in Tionesta with her family. She has three children, Autumn, William, and Matthew, along with two cats, Sam and Dean, and one turtle named Steve. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her children and animals as well as cooking and baking.
Patty’s favorite part about being a caregiver is “…I love helping people, spending time with them and making them laugh.” Her advice for new caregivers is to “…. Always try to do anything you can to be the highlight of the day for your clients. Allow them to be the same for you.” When asked what caregiving means to her, Patty said “…It means going beyond the relationship of caregiver and client to becoming a family with them as well.” Patty’s favorite memory with a client was “…watching Smokey and The Bandit. I enjoy it when he laughs.”
Patty loves music and she loves the beach and sunshine. We’re so thankful for caregivers like Patty. We know for certain that her client is in good hands and loves when it’s time for them to get together. Keep up the great work Patty!
