December 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Maria Diaz, our featured caregiver of the month!

Maria has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for about a year and a half.  When asked about this caregiver, her manager stated “She is hands down one of my best caregivers, she is always on time, never calls off and always completes all the daily tasks for her clients”.

Maria and her husband Josh have four children (Lucas 3, Mike 8, Peyton 9, & Mark 12).  They also have two dogs; Charlie and Sarah. Her  favorite part of being a caregiver is helping out all of her clients. Maria encourages other caregivers to keep a positive attitude at all times.  In her spare time, Maria enjoys spending time with her family.

A fun fact about Maria is that she loves animals.

November 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Tina Shreckengost, our featured caregiver of the month!

Tina has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for a little over two months. When her manager was asked about her she stated, “She is exceptional and genuine when she cares for others.  She has a beautiful heart and always goes above and beyond for the clients.”

Tina is happily married with three sons, two grandchildren, two dogs, three parrots and one cat. She joined Sunny Days because she enjoys helping people. She encourages other caregivers to have compassion and empathy for the clients they are working with. This shows the clients that you genuinely care about them and their needs.

In her free time, Tina enjoys being outdoors surrounded by nature.

A random fun fact about Tina is that she has a vivid sense of humor.

October 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Dominique Jackson, our featured caregiver of the month!

Dominique has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for 7 months. When her manager was asked about her she stated, “Sunny Days is fortunate to have Dominique as part of our family. She is reliable, professional, and compassionate. Every client she cares for, adores her. I feel like I struck gold when she became a caregiver for me. She is always one step ahead, and makes my job easy. Dominique makes such a difference in her client’s (and their families) lives. She is genuine, caring, and deserves to be recognized for her hard work.”

Dominique is originally from Pittsburgh, and is married with two daughters; Ta’Miyah and Natalie.  Her favorite part of being a caregiver is being able to help clients with their daily living.  She said, “it’s a desire to want to help them”. She encourages other caregivers to come to work, have patience, and communicate with your manager if a situation occurs.

Outside of work, Dominique loves going to the park with her kids, listening to music and attending dance classes.  A random fun fact about here is she is a huge jokester and always makes people laugh.

September 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Donald Snowden III, our featured caregiver of the month!

Donald has been a caregiver with Sunny Days since May. When we asked his manager about him she said, “Donald has a positive attitude and truly makes a difference in every client’s life that he works with. Donald stays positive when things get tough at work and makes all of his client’s have a better day. As caregivers, this is something we all strive for and Donald has accomplished this and maintains this everyday. Donald remembers that sometimes it is the smallest things that truly make a difference for our clients and he goes above and beyond for each and every one of them. He is always willing to pick up shifts when I need him.”

Donald is originally from Youngstown, Ohio. He has 3 kids; Jaden, Zhi’Aair & Peighton and 3 step-kids; Alayzia, Lorenzo & Rae’Onna. He also has a dog named Cash. Donald’s favorite part of being a caregiver is being able to make a difference in someone else’s life. He encourages other caregivers to get to know their clients.  He states, “Figure out what they expect from you, and do your best to accommodate their lifestyle.”  In Donald’s free time he enjoys spending time with his family either going to parks, going for walks or watching movies.

August 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Rae Ann Beyerl, our featured caregiver of the month!

Rae Ann has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for 6 years. She said joining Sunny Days was the best decision she has ever made.  “Being a caregiver brings you so much love and fulfillment and it brings so much love to my heart. Just getting to know the clients and giving them the help they need is very rewarding to me”.

When her manager was asked about her, she stated “Rae Ann provides an outstanding job on all levels of her position. Rae always has the clients’ best interest at heart.  She loves and cares about her clients like they are family. She is very dedicated and professional.  Rae always goes above and beyond”.

She is originally from Washington, PA, and has two sons and one daughter.  Outside of work she likes to spend time with her grandchildren or sit on her front porch waving to the neighbors.

Rae Ann encourages other caregivers to make their clients feel that you really want to be there to help make a difference in their lives. She said to “Take the time to socialize and if they say that they cannot wait to see you again then you know you have done a good job and have possibly made a difference to them. Always treat them with respect and dignity”.

A random fun fact about Rae Ann is that she pitches softball left handed but writes with her right hand.

Meet Tamika Wayne, our featured caregiver of the month!

Tamika has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for almost 3 years. When her manager was asked, she said “She goes over and beyond.  She is amazing and always gets to every shift on time even though she doesn’t have a car. Tamika is very devoted to her clients.”

She is originally from Aliquippa, and has a daughter and a son. Tamika’s favorite part of being a caregiver is taking care of the elderly. She encourages other caregivers to just do everything possible because you never know when someone will have to take care of you.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family. Random fun fact about Tamika is that she likes to country line dance.

June 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Tammy Noble, our featured caregiver of the month!

Tammy has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for 7 years!  When asked about this caregiver, her manager stated, “She is truly a rare, one of a kind employee who is dedicated to her job and takes great pride in caring for others!  Despite adversity in her personal life, she has been giving 110% towards caring for her clients. She is always eager to help and is very dependable as well as reliable.

Tammy is originally from Washington.  She is married with two kids, one grandkid and two dogs.  Her favorite part of being a caregiver is feeling rewarded by putting smiles on clients faces along with feeling appreciated. Tammy encourages other caregivers to stay humble and kind.  She says, “start everyday with a cup of coffee and leave your home with a positive mindset for the new day.”

Outside of work Tammy enjoys spending time with her grandson L.J. and having mommy daughter days with her daughter and mother.  She also enjoys swimming, she is always the last one out of the pool.

May 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Lisa Bonnage, our featured caregiver of the month!

Lisa has been a caregiver with Sunny Days In-Home Care for two and a half years. When her Manager was asked about her she stated, “Lisa is a great caregiver!  She is very compassionate, caring and has a great work ethic.  She never calls off and always puts her clients first.”

She  is originally from New Castle.  Lisa has 3 children (a daughter & twin sons) and 14 grandchildren.  Her oldest grandchild is 18 and the youngest is only 20 months old.  She has fish as pets.  One of her favorite parts of being a caregiver is the closeness that she has with her clients.  One in particular, she has been with for almost three years!  Lisa knows her needs and knows her family so well that she even goes to family functions with them, including weddings. She encourages other caregivers to treat their clients as they would want their parents and loved ones to be treated.

Outside of work, Lisa loves to spend time with her family and friends.  She goes to sporting and school events with her grandchildren.  Lisa also likes playing Bingo, card games, and dice games.

Music: Almost anything, especially country

A random fun fact about Lisa is that she always finds herself saying random phrases that her mom used to say to her when she was a kid.  One of them being, “I’m me; Like me, love me or don’t. I’m still going to be me.”

April 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Pamela Ross, our featured caregiver of the month!

Pamela has been a caregiver with Sunny Days In-Home Care for over 6 years.  When her manager was asked about her she stated, “She’s fantastic! Pam is always reliable and quick to help when staffing issues arise, and with a smile. I don’t think there has ever been a time when I called her for help, and she denied. She never calls off either! She’s an incredibly humble and hardworking caregiver and I pray I get more like her.”

Pamela is originally from Charleroi.  She has one daughter and three dogs. Pamela’s favorite part of being a caregiver is helping clients with their everyday tasks including preparing and making meals for the day. Pamela encourages other caregivers to always be on time for their shifts because the clients depend on them.

Outside of work, Pamela loves spending time with her grandchildren.  She also enjoys making cookies, in fact she makes 23 different types of cookies around Christmas time!

March 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Tarrah Parcetich, our featured caregiver of the month!

Tarrah has been a caregiver with Sunny Days In-Home Care for 9 months but has already made a great impression here.  Tarrah was chosen as our featured caregiver this month because she has awesome teamwork skills. When asked about this caregiver, her manager stated, “Her care and dedication for her client’s is exceptional.”

She is originally from Sharon.  Tarrah has two little boys, Ryan (6) and Bryan (4).  They have two dogs, Mr. Chuck & Yaffa! Her favorite part of being a caregiver is making her client’s life easier.  Tarrah stated, “It’s wonderful to have time to help people with the day to day things that seem small but mean so much to people.” Her advice to other caregivers would be to treat people how you would want them to treat your family.

In Tarrah’s free time she plays outside with her children; they like to stay active either by playing at the park or walking their dogs.  She also enjoys reading, baking, and family time. A random fact about Tarrah is that she is great at drawing.

February 2019 Featured Caregiver


Meet Cynthia McDonald, our featured caregiver of the month!

Cynthia has been a caregiver with Sunny Days In-Home Care for 6 years and 4 months. Cindy was chosen as our featured caregiver this month because she has been an exemplary employee for the 6+ years that she has worked for Sunny Days. She’s extremely professional, well-educated and unbelievably reliable (she hasn’t missed a day of work in over a year and a half). She can fit in well with any client she cares for and she always projects a positive attitude.  When asked about this caregiver, her manager stated, “If I had more caregivers like Cindy, my job would be so easy!”

Cynthia is originally from Scott Township.  She has two kids- Brandon and Brittany, who are, “her life and loves”.  Her favorite part of being a caregiver is helping others live their lives to the fullest.  She encourages other caregivers to be patient, caring and compassionate.

Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys getting together with friends and family, going out to eat and trying new restaurants.  Another one of her favorite activities is dancing!  She loves to play words with friends (username: Cindy5678) and scrabble.
