Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of May… Kecia! 

Kecia has been with Sunny Days for 5 years! She is originally from Brooklyn, New York and currently lives in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She has six sons, five grandchildren and one dog. Her favorite foods are chicken, steak, vegetables, and cheesecake. Kecia enjoys all kinds of music and movies. A fun fact about her is that she is a very funny person. Outside of work Kecia enjoys spending quality time with her five grandchildren. 

Kecia’s favorite part about being a caregiver is listening to her clients and creating a peaceful environment for them. When asked what caregiving means to her Kecia replied “…having a lot of compassion for people”. Her advice to new caregivers would be to have patience and listen. Do all of your tasks. Kecia enjoys all her wonderful clients and loves their conversations and laughs that they share together.
