Caregiver Spotlight: Crystal in the Mon Valley, PA

Crystal has been with Sunny Days In-Home Care Mon Valley, formerly known as An Answered Prayer, for two years and three months! She is from Duquesne and currently lives in Pittsburgh with her husband, Yusef, and their three kids; LaTesha Hightower, LaDawn Reddick, and Kamron Hamlin-Burt. Her favorite food is pasta, her favorite movie is B.A.P.S., and her favorite type of music is R&B. A fun fact about Crystal is that she is kindhearted! Outside of work, she spends her time with her family!

Crystal’s favorite part about caregiving is having compassion for her clients and being a good listener. When asked about what caregiving means to her, Crystal replied, “Everything, just like taking care of my baby parents.” Her advice to new caregivers is to treat others with respect and dignity! Her favorite memory with a client was attending our company trip to Kennywood and playing bingo!
