Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of April…Denise!

Denise has been with the Sunny Days family for two years! She’s originally from Greensburg and still resides in the area with her family. She is married with two children and four grandchildren. Outside of work, Denise enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her favorite food is pizza, her favorite type of music is Alternative, and her favorite movie is Forrest Gump. A fun fact about Dense is that she is a background actress. She’s been in tv shows, commercials, and movies!

When asked about her favorite part of being a caregiver, Denise said “…. That I can help my mom and make sure she is being taken care of. I also was able to meet a lot of other people through her adult daycare.” Her advice for new caregivers is “…Even if it is frustrating at times, know that you are providing a great service to people who need it.” When asked what caregiving means to her, Denise said “…I get to spend time with my mom. Even though she has dementia, I know I can make her happy and live a good life.” Denise’s favorite memory with a client is when she got to “…Go to adult daycare and see how happy she was there.”

We’re so thankful for the wonderful addition of Denise to our team. She takes great care of her mom and we look forward to seeing how she’ll grow throughout the company. Keep up the great work Denise!
